"Lots of people look good with clothes on, but it's a ton of work to look good naked."

I know I've talked about how nudism isn't about what you look like. I can still assure you that it definitely isn't.

But who doesn't want to look good naked?

Looking good is of course subjective. What one person finds attractive may not be attractive to others. The key to looking good naked is learning to love how you look, not what others subjectively want you to look like.

Everyone wants to look good. Most of us actually want to like what they look like. This may mean making changes to your lifestyle. Maybe it means working out, maybe it means eating differently. It may simply be a matter of putting up A LOT of mirrors and simply watching your body until you get used to it.

Most people don't spend much time naked. Their bodies shock them. They think they know what they look like, they think they know what other people look like. Then they remove the rags and realize perhaps they have idealized what their body looks like. This is where mirrors come in handy. The more you see your body the less you are shocked by it. The more you come to accept it. Then you actually like it.

Spending time socially nude is also helpful. When you realize the spectrum of bodies out there it's hard to seriously hate any of them. You realize that "looking good naked" is far more a matter of confidence than appearance.

Nudism has helped me realize that most people look good, clothed or naked.
