In Cancer tonight is bringing in extra energy for new beginnings since we just had the summer solstice and it is a Super Moon. The Moon is "home" in the sign of Cancer that is all about The Mother, emotions, intuition, divine feminine and vulnerability. It is also connected to our roots, home and family, so this is a great time to set powerful New Moon intentions for all of these aspects of You and life.
What an amazing week we have had, with Mars in Cancer and the Sun and Mercury moving in there and it kicks of summer (winter in the northern hemisphere). The ruler of Cancer is the Moon, so today the Moon is in its home sign. Cancer is the mother, the nurture, the matriarch and our emotional body. This is the inner intelligence that deals with intuition and emotional guidance.
Being connected to ourselves, our emotions, our roots, our home and our family is very important at this time and we are called to understand, communicate and take action on our emotions right now. Now is the time to use our healing powers to heal ourselves and the wounds of the collective. There might be feeling and emotions coming out now since the energy is strong as well.
