Croissants! Go to cheat food? Why not?

When I've eaten very healthy for a few days here's a go to list I use when I want a treat that isn't too crazy!

  • Plain Croissant
  • ONE small donut (I choose the lower calorie one)
  • An English muffin with a LITTLE jelly
  • A FEW dark chocolate covered almonds

Of course I choose one! But the idea is to stay with a lower calorie choice, whether it be size, or type, or both, it can be done!

I'm doing it! I want to stay healthier as I approach sixty but still have fun and enjoy eating some of the yummy foods at times 😋

I love almond and chocolate croissants so much! However now that I'd trying to limit my sugar intake I also occasionally have a plain croissant. You can't beat that buttery soft taste with a cup of coffee. Mmmmm!

Yes!! I agree that buttery softness and coffee! It's heaven! :)) Oohhh almond croissants sound lovely! I do love chocolate ones too but I was being good! ;) Maybe next time! And I'll have to try an almond one. Yum!

Sounds tasty, but I tend to live off a good cup of coffee and nervous energy.

Yes, coffee is on my menu daily too! haha, yeah, I get the nervous energy sometimes as well :)
