Hello, Steemit community! I'm an article writer and a nutrition hobbyist with years of experience and study reads. I decided that instead of writing using old and traditional way in those huge "word press" companies I will leave them all together and look forward the future. From now on I will put my knowledge to good use and will focus only on this platform - Steemit. All that to make your life a bit easier or save you few of those hard earned $.
So it happened again, you let go your bad eating habits take over and suddenly you’re feeling and looking fat. How it’s that possible you ask yourself? You feel guilty and as time passes you want to change it more and more. Happens so that we, humans are extremely inpatient creatures and we expect to see results quickly, very quickly. So you go to your local drug store and without much thinking, u buy a fat burner along with almost a dozen of other supplements to kick-start your metamorphosis. What if I would tell you basically all of this is unnecessary?
You need to imagine your body as a highly advanced computer that crunches data all the time and it understands only two commends: too little or too much. The only difference is that the "data" are the calories you put inside your body. It’s not possible to lose weight eating over your total daily needed amount. If your body burns a certain number of calories every day, no dietary supplement will make it burn more (At least not the legal and safe ones). It was proven in numerous studies that majority of the supplements have little to no effect. In the overwhelming majority of the cases, it's nothing more than a placebo effect. You take a pill and expect magic to happen. But instead of that, the only reason you might be benefiting from having all those supplements is a thought that if you already spent so much money in the first place at least you won’t give up and go to the gym. The question you need to ask yourself is – “Is it even worth it?” I believe that that money can be spent somewhere else or saved altogether.
Furthermore, other research stands that majority of the people tend to underestimate the number of eaten calories in a considerable way. That alone can be the biggest and only reason why you can't lose weight. What if I would tell you there is a way to effectively lose weight, it’s simple and free? You would think I want to scam you. I won’t do that or try to sell you anything. But what I will do, is recommend that you will start tracking your calories. In the next article, I will show you how in just a few easy steps you can start tracking your calories daily. You will know exactly how much you need to eat or why is that you can't lose weight.
