I waited through the whole night to take part in the Ignis ICO. Jelurida the company behind the NXT platform is going to start the "NXT 2.0" platform called Ardor later this year. Part of the new Ardor platform is it's childchain token Ignis. The ico for the Ignis token started this morning. And guess what, Jelurida totally fucked it up!

This morning the sale started with 5 million token for the price of 0.4 NXT each. As a surprise to everyone the tokens where instantly sold out. But wait why isn't that great? No it's not because all coins where sold to only one person! Here you can see "all" transactions that took place during the sale:

One person snatched up all Tokens instantly! Many people including me where obviously pissed, but it's getting even better! According to an user on Reddit this was all an inside job:

There is obviously a connection to the developer of the NXT and Ardor platform. The next batch of 5 million Ignis will be sold this evening and according to some users on reddit the Account NXT-MAAC-AZFN-MK6A-CE4N7 is already loaded with another 2 million NXT to snatch them up. This guy somehow get's a headstart either through Jelurida or a bot, but who is able to make a custom bot for this kind of special ico? The ico is only accessible through the wallet and the ico page was added just recently.

5 million Ignis are approximately worth 440k US$ as of right now. Another 440k are ready to be used to buy more tokens.

I hope the next sale works out to be fair this time.
