They're sellouts, of course Steemit is for sale. They know they're failing. They'll take what they can get I'm sure.

Sort Order:

For over 3 years I have made tons of posts about whether Steemit wants to be known as just a blogging site, and I listed ideas from a Facebook, YouTube, or even a Soundcloud style of Steemit, and I even made a post 3 years ago talking about an entire Steemit digital VR world.. However, since then Dtube, Dsound, and even Decentraland have came out since those posts..

So my question is still the same.. Is Steemit just a blogging site or will it be a combo of everything like Reddit, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter on one site?

Or do they plan to just use Categories and put all of the TOP Steem dApps on the Steemit home page like Dtube, Splinterlands, Appics, etc..

Steemit is not Steem.

My bigger question is - why don't the blogging features of this site work like a normal blogging site? Why aren't there ways to save multiple drafts? Why does the editor not work like a normal editor? Why doesn't the search feature work right? Why is the site so convoluted and confusing, especially for new users? If they want this to be any kind of social media site it needs to be user friendly.

Sooner or later competitors will come along who run competent sites and then Steemit (and to a large degree STEEM) will be in huge trouble. Hell, Publish0x does that already https://www.publish0x.com?a=pnel78MdKB . On top of that, this site has not seemingly improved much over the nearly two years I've been here.

GREAT points.. Which makes me think you know what? Why does every person that comes to Steemit, posts a few times and leaves say that they didn't make anything on here and that is why they gave up..

To me it seems like Steemit killed Steem.. Or at least held it back, but don't get me wrong I have been here since the beginning because of the community and never left!

However, it seems like Steemit seemed to push this idea of Post to get Paid and to this fn day people still don't know the difference between Steem and Steemit is, and I am talking big time people in the space or on the news 🤡
