My teammate got married

Yo everyone.

Yesterday, I spent surrounded by feelings and love. Can I ask for anything more? No, not me. That's all I ask for :)

It was a wedding of my teammate from Split Sea Wolves, our club in American Football. When we played Defence together, he played Mike Linebacker and I played Free Safety position.

Anyone who know a bit about American football, knows that there should be a good connection between those 2 positions. Now, I am not gonna say we were perfect with communication and positioning but I think we knew our weaknesses nad strengths so we were a very good combo.

If you wanted to run against us, he would wreck you up. If you wanted to skip thst part and throw a ball for a TD, I would interecept it or if you are the luckiest man alive that day, it would just be a deflection ;) True story bro haha

This was a few years ago and it will remain in my memories forever. Those feelings and moments on the field cannot replace anything ever. It is really something emotional and special. I live for those moments, I literally do.

As you can see from the pictures above, we started the day by eating everything we can haha JK but I was hungry as shiiet because I didn't eat for the whole day so I had to male a point here and I ate almost everything buahaha

After having some fun, we haded to a church to see the ceremony. I don't know why but everytime we are in the church, we find something to laugh about. This time was not different again. We were lucky that we hadn't been thrown out of the church xD

These are my teammates. Yes, even the girl was practicing Flag Football with us. On this picture you can see FS, TE, OLB and CB.

After the ceremony, we went to congratulate newlyweds and wish them luck and much love in their future life.

There is no wedding in Croatia without flares. We are here waiting for newlyweds to come out of the church and to celebrate and sing a bit before we go to a place to continue celebrating but also eating :))

Time to eat nom nom nom :) I believe this is the best part of the wedding for most of us haha

It was so special this night becuase there were about 15 teammates and their girls/wives. We had a lot of talk about football and what we did good or bad. We had a lot of remeniscing about crazy moments we went through together. In this sport, there are a lot of feeling involved and that's why it is really special to talk about it with your teammates.

We wouldn't call it a marriage if he didn't wore Split Sea Wolves jersey :) Even tho' he got a bit fat, we managed to make him wear it. As you can see, his wife was lucky about it so everything went according to plans :)

At the end of the night, girls were catching the flowers which means that whoever catches it, needs to get married. In this picture, you can see my lady hiding in the background trying to avoid those flowers and marrying me haha

Aynway, it was a special day filled with love and I will treasure it forever. Some moments stay with us until the end and we need to be sure to cherish them and create as much more of them as we can.

Sending you bye-byes from my work while trying to make time fly just so I can get to my bed and sleep until tomorrow afternoon. Ha!
