The Path of the Fool in the Crowley Thoth Tarot represents a journey of self illumination using a 22 based system or more accurately a journey of the 22 character Hebrew alphabet. The Fool is both that last and first card, it is the ending of a cycle and the beginning of a new cycle. The fool comes to the table of a new beginning, it is where it is and it knows what it knows but this adventure is new and it will take the fool to many unexpected situations each unique to its perception and experience. This is the path of life, each day is a new day and we come across many opportunities to change our direction. It ends having accomplished the achievements of the previous cycle and takes that knowledge with them on their next journey through the 22 card trumps of life

The 22 in numerology represents the master builder, it has dual traits of positivity and negativity. It can build anything it dreams if it sets its mind to it. It doesn't yet know what to do or how to do it but with awareness it can use what it is available to it to make it so.
