A sigil is a symbol, sound, phrase or picture that you create based on a intention you are setting. You can start out by jotting down a few setences that can be a general affirmation towards your goal, then remove all the vows and repeating continence and utilize your remaining letters. You can create a symbol out of the remaining letters, you can also create a phrase or a sound or even draw a picture or a mix of them.

Sigils are used to help manifest something you want to bring into your life, it could be prosperity, happiness, freedom, abundance, the list goes on. @mickeybeaves and I utilize this Kaos magik in special ceremonies. I sketched the one in the picture above for our wedding ceremony this weekend. The letters along the compass represent words we chose for our sigil, uNity, Fertile , Sacred, And groWth. The symbols SW an Egyptian ahnk is a representation of eternal life and our eternal bond or unity, SF the Celtic symbol for light as we hope to bring light into each other’s lives, NF Hamsa protection and healthy fertility for our future family, and NW the native symbol for protection for our unity, our long lives, and over our loved ones.

The last step is to charge(or activate) your sigil in order for it to have power people often use their energy as a battery life for their creations. Some of the most common ways to charge a sigil is to meditate, masturbate or have sex, while holding your intention and purpose in mind.

Once your sigil is charged you can focus and work towards your goal while your magik element draws opportunity towards you!
