DIY: Mini Unicorn bag, step by step tutorial.

in ocd-resteem •  6 years ago

Hello, Hello! my dear friends Steemians, I hope you are very, very good.

I was absent for a few days due to a terrible virus that kept me in bed for several days, but thanks to God and the care of my beloved I am much better and still in recovery.

Several days ago I had prepared this tutorial, for reasons mentioned above I had not been able to upload it to my blog, but here I bring it, it is a super great idea of a very beautiful mini bag that can be used as a purse, or as a beautiful gift for our daughters or some niece, they will really love it!

A few days ago I combined it with my baby girl with her oufits and she looked beautiful, I realized that many people called a lot of attention this little bag, especially the girls, they always looked at her and showed their mothers the bag of my daughter, some even came to ask me where I had bought it, hahaha! It's great when those things happen to me.

Let's start...

The materials that we are going to need for this project are cheap and sure many already have them at home.

  • Scissors

  • Marker

  • Closing

  • Jewelery chains

  • Meter

  • Thread and needle

  • 2 Cds

  • 2 Cloth circles

  • 2 felt circles

  • Unicorn face molds in Foami

  • The first step is to place the CD in the center of the fabric circle.

The first circle must have at least 1cm left over to be able to stick the fabric to the CD using the silicon and must be completely covered.

  • Then we will paste the felt circle to completely cover the CD.

The felt circle is the same size as our CD neither more nor less.

  • And so we do with the two parts that will be the sides of our bag.

  • Then we will mark on the strip that we have already cut to be able to paste the closure.

We measure the length of our closure, make a cut and stick it to the strip.

  • The strip that we are going to use to stick the two sides of our bag should be the circular length of the CD.

I joined two strips to get a long, which will be the width of my bag, it is very important that they know that these strips will be what will define the width of our bag.

  • We will use the thread and needle to first sew one side of our bag.

Also if you want you can stick it with silicon, you just have to bend the edges and apply little silicone to stick one side of the lid and then do the same with the other side, what I did was seize seam on both sides.

  • We stick the other side of our bag to close.

  • And so we have left, it is almost ready.

  • The next step is to cut two small strips to fold and glue them to the sides of our bag to be able to stick the hanging strip.

  • After that is ready with your chain to hang we will start decorating with the molds already cut out of unicorn.

  • On the sides I have placed a small cloth box for a better finish.

  • In the part of the closure I have placed a small pen to make it look much more beautiful, an accessory to decorate.

And ready, we have finished our mini bag!

  • I loved it, I did it especially for my baby, and he has already released it, he does not even want to take it off hehehe !.

  • I hope you liked this beautiful tutorial and tell me what you think about it, would you do it?

Thank you very much for reading me, I send you a big virtual hug, and because here I will be sharing new ideas super great, that surely will love them.
