With the advent of this Covid19 virus it has affected a lot of human activities, its just so sad we are faced with a difficult form of life style, but if you are reading this, please stay safe out there and adhere to medical instructions what has a beginning always has an end. Back to my post this is a commission work i did last month but was unable to upload it here due to my busy schedule. it is a drawing i did of a lady in a traditional attire here in nigeria, people who dress like this in Nigeria are called the idomas , idoma is a tribe spoken by an indigenous people of benue state nigeria. benue is a state in north central nigeria which is known as the food basket of the nation, this state has virtually all kinds of food supplies.
here are the images of this work
each time i hold my pencils to draw i usually develop my own style from the reference image, its not everything i see i draw i try as much as to add my own taste to the drawing, like in this work you would notice how i brought out her dimple so well unlike the reference image lol.

comparison between the reference image and the drawing, if you notice the comparison you would see that i added a lot of expression on her face in the drawing. most times i don't really draw exactly what i see i improve on what i see, as far as i can get the resemblance we move lol.
