Cardboard base for silicon guns - by @missu. Do It Yourself!

¡Hi my friends!

In search of an idea to place my silicon gun, it occurred to me to do something myself, using cardboard and a little paint, the results were much better than I expected, I really loved it. It is also a very useful idea and a practical accessory for all the girls who work with handicrafts, since we are always watered a little silicon when we are working and it sticks on the table or tablecloth, well now with this basic practice they finish those problems, it is also a way to organize our work desk, I hope you like it.

  • Materials:

✂ To start with the project we will cover all the pieces that we have cut with recycled paper.

Let's start with the base

First we put the white glue with a brush and we cover it with the leaves, it must be completely covered, this is done so that the paint adheres better to the surface of the paper and is much easier to paint, thus we cover all the pieces.

✂ The last piece will be folded into a tube.

For this you will need a tube-shaped container, put the cardboard box on the tip and roll the cardboard to soften and shape, then join the two edges with white glue or silicon, and likewise lined with paper.

✂ All pieces must be completely lined in paper.

After all are ready and lined, the next step is to stick the pieces with silicon to the base. First we locate them and mark them with crayons to know where we are going to stick exactly each piece.

After you have pasted the first piece, you are going to cut out a strip of paper and you are going to glue them all over the bottom so that they adhere much better to the cardboard and do not take off easily, this we will do after gluing with silicon each one of the pieces, this is so that at the time of painting you have a professional finish and no defect or silicon residues are noticed.

✂ Finally, we cut part of a plastic bottle and paste so that there remains the tip of the silicon gun and you can see in the picture.

✂ After we have everything glued correctly, we will paint everything very well with paint of the color you want, in my case use a quick drying paint in purple.

✂ As it is a fast-drying paint it does not take more than 5 or 6 minutes to dry, since it is dry we can place some ornaments to taste

I only used a small flower that I had kept and I put it on. And on the edge I have stuck a small golden strip like strass.

Ya We've finished it! So we have our beautiful base to place our silicone gun, it is very original and useful, I hope you enjoyed it, and then if you do not have a mind to do it with this practical tutorial I have prepared for you.
