OCD DAILY - Issue #317

Welcome to the 317th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #317 highlights content from ten (10) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found ten (10) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @adalger

No weather conditions can stop a truly adventurous spirit. Despite the cold, heavy rain, and flooded path @adalger simply could not pass the opportunity to visit Yosemite National Park. While he had to endure the harsh punishment of the weather, the views he go to experience along the way were simply priceless and will remain as one of the greatest experiences of his life. Sometimes the risks are well worth it.

Our next nomination of the day is from @inquisitiveguy

"Loss of the public space". How big companies might abuse events that they are sponsoring, because they want to be associated with lifestyle of certain groups that are behind the events. How states can become like eggshells - empty inside, because too many things are outsorced to commercial contractors. And finally if and why do we need the space free from commercialism? That's what you'll find out from the @inquisitiveguy article.

Our next nomination of the day is from @nekromarinist

Constantine Golubev, our very own @nekromarinist at Steemit, has recently achieved a milestone in his artistic career! That is, he finally held an exhibition of his artworks, a solo gallery that showcases to the world his talents and accomplishments

This post brings us his excited and thankful messages from the exhibition, how it was both exhilarating to hold an exhibition but also the little sadness over its very brief period of air time (only a single day!)

We see the preparation photos, and photos off the visitors on the day, and also a review written about the exhibition is included in the post. What I love the most is the video! We can feel the space of the gallery, the patrons, the artist, as well as clearer shots of the works being displayed

Clearly, Constantine is on the up and up! If you have never come across his pieces, this is a great time to check out this artist, click the post below!

Our final nomination of the day is from @delamaria

In this introduction post "Different Versions of Myself - A Different Way of Self-introduction" @delamaria takes a different approach to introducing herself by describing "different versions of herself."
Her ability to deviate from the standard of what we frequently see in introduction posts was key in my selection. To me this post is indicative that she is creative, in touch with herself, and in touch with others. She also expressed an affinity towards art, and gave a shout out to her brother and another Steemian who influenced her to sign up.
The unique and clever dynamics of this post really caught my attention, and I look forward to seeing what @delamaria shares with us in the future!
