OCD DAILY - Issue #338

Welcome to the 338th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #338 highlights content from eight (8) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found eight (8) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @hippie-witha-gun

@hippie-witha-gun documents his baby's first time on the beach in this blog filled with several cute pictures of the toddler. The entire family spends a day at the Flagler Beach, and little Maverick had an eventful day that included fun activities like playing with sea shells.

Our next nomination of the day is from @misterakpan

Mr. Akpan is showing us process of making fruit soap (if that is this black thing called, he is not sure either), and on top of that he is getting his new camera soon, so we can expect more awesome material from him. This is just beautifully edited.

Our next nomination of the day is from @doskinas

@doskina visited this stunning beautiful ancient city in Jordan, entering not via the famous Siq like Indiana Jones, but via a little know back door. The back door is actually a small trail surrounded by mountains that lead directly to the Monsatery, one of the main structures in Petra. He had a local guide with him who took him around paths not known to many tourists, bought some scarves off the local women, and learnt to play games that no one remembers how to play anymore. Finally they reach the Monastery and see it with their own eyes for the first time. I know that feeling well as I experienced it myself when I went to Petra. It's priceless.

Our next nomination of the day is from @oreille-pointue

@oreille-pointue presents her new ink drawing which is the illustration of her recent project.
Before she draws the final illustration, she makes a couple of designs for the two characters and shows the sketches to us.
After she decides the final character design, she draws a very vivid layout.
She also shares a little tip. You can use red ink to draw the sketch so that it will be easier to remove the sketch line in Photoshop.
I really recommend you to read her post. You will love her artistic illustration.

Our next nomination of the day is from @athunderstruck

@athunderstruck is very serious about his Pokemons. He is describing his journey on catching the best Pokemons and you can see this task is not quite easy. He even took a train to Antwerp with his friend and went on catching Pokemons and even sightseeing around. Isn't that great? Take a walk or catch a train with him and join him while he constantly grows his Poke Army :D

Our next nomination of the day is from @lyon89

@lyon89 composes music of all types. A lot of the time he delves into a darker side, while on a piece like this one he manages to create an atmosphere of calm and relaxing sound. Regardless of his mood he is always original and creative with his music. So, click play, close your eyes, and prepare to be swept away to a happy place, Under the Rain.

Our next nomination of the day is from @yugen98

We have another new Steemian on the platform! @yugen98 has presented us with a very nice introduction post. He expressed his interests, shared some really cool photography, and talked about his passion for crypto. I can't wait to see more from him, let's give Yugen a warm welcome!

Our final nomination of the day is from @lukakorba

Travel isn't always about showing pictures of the places and little did we know, we can even theoritize traveling.
@lukakorba mentioned this,
If we compare this - what is called neuroplasticity - to my theory, we begin to notice a lot of similarities; as we travel to new places - externally - new neural pathways get created in our minds. This isn't definitely your regular stories, check it our if you agree and disagree with the author!
