OCD DAILY - Issue #99

Welcome to the 99th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #99 highlights content from eight (8) fantastic Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered ten incredible pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer Steemit users don’t have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in tremendous effort to create flourishing content.

The nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

From a few years back until now, doodle have become a trend, you can find them in a lot of websites and there are actually apps specifically to create your own in different circumstances. @howtostartablog really likes this style of cartoon-ish avatars and this time he found @pinstory´s post. On this amazing article she shares with us some of the best creations a graphic designer can do as a self-tribute. Click below to appreciate her artwork.

Introducing my art

There should always be a travel post included in our daily comp, not because it is mandatory but due to the great number of cool travel adventures posted daily on steemit. On the one featured today, @kaliju goes on a culinary tour around South Korea and he allows us to appreciate his experiences with him. Brought to you by @jznsamue, this travel blog will not leave you with a bad taste in your mouth, perhaps you´ll end up hungry, but what you do after that it is up to you.

Weddings are different depending on the country and the traditions in said place, with a marvelous narration including tons of pictures, @thatindianlady attended a wedding with another steemian and she tells us everything that happened on this beautiful day that definitely @jeanpi1908 seems to have enjoyed.

A very good short story featuring a well known character, in a Tim Burton´s style, @kissnekomimi gives us a turn of the screw worthy of Shyamalan. Written as a prose, this piece curated by @saywha will leave you wanting more of this, but there is a quick solution, follow this writer and you won´t be let down.

We all need a meaning, a reason to live, to strive for succes, to fuel our need of accomplishment and @phoenixwren is no stranger to this concept. Attacking this subject from the point of view of meritocracy and how does it affect our lives, this post curated by @guyfawkes4-20 is a masterpiece. Click below to read a very good reflexion of how we all find meaning in different matters but, in the end, we all need a meaning to live.

On meaning and meritocracy

Lake Michigan is one of the biggest lakes in the US and @sweetwilliam went there to have a blast. This piece of water surrounded by several states, holds one of the greatest adventures @elteamgordo has found for OCD. This 4 day trip includes Nature, adventures, architecture and food. Click below to get to know this amazing lake,

A step by step post featuring art is always delightful to watch, especially if it is in a refreshing style such as the one that @tishyaoedit shows this time. Curated by @ma1neevent frist drew and then digitalized creation will amaze you. Click below to watch the process.

@geoedwar is an atheist, but that does not necesarilly means that you should stop searching for the meaning of life, where do we come from, why do we behave like we do etc. There are so many questions and so many different answers to every wuestion, that sometimes just by asking yourself something, you are already looking at the answers, but sometimes is trickier than that. @thethirdeye stumbled upon this post and I bet he ended up with more questions than answers, but isn´t that the meaning of life? To continually search for answers? Click below to read the author´s arguments.

Why am I an atheist but also search for answers?

Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.

Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.

The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.

Be sure to check for tomorrow’s edition of OCD Daily!

Nice one, these posts are great and undervalued quite alright but there are thousands of undervalued posts on steemit, I don't know the criteria you used to arrive at these. I still love this your idea, at least it has to start somewhere. Well done.
I am going to check out and follow them.

Great post and Every one of us wants to reach the summit and succeed

@ocd I'm relatively new to Steemit and realize it can be hard to generate an audience. I think what you are doing here is a great thing for newer Steemit users that put effort in to creating really good content in their posts. Having you showcase their posts is definitely going to help build up their audiences!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks so much for the nomination, nice to receive some recognition. I'm just starting out on this platform, but very excited to get involved.

If anyone is interested, I plan to post further on history and travel. For example discussing Ancient Greece through modern day Athens, or the Mayans through a trip to the Yucutan Peninsular.

I would also like to create a post or a series about the practice of meditation. More to come... ... ...

😊

Thank you so much for including me in this roundup!
