I located an aproximated decomposition/breakdown time table for most of our common trash and residues:
Newspaper - 2 to 6 weeks– 2 a 6 semanas
Paper bag - 1 to 2 months
Cardboard box - 2 monts
Cotton strips – 1 to 5 months
Rope - 3 to 15 months
Wool - 1 to 5 years
Paper napkins – 2 years
Matches – 2 years
Milk package – 5 years
Bubble gum – 5 years
Laminated paper – 5 years
Cigarrete tips– 10 to 12 years
Leather shoes – 25 to 40 years
Nylon – 30 to 40 years
Leather– 50 years
Rubber boots – 50 to 80 years
Plastic recipients – 50 to 80 years
Soda can – 80 to 200 years
Battery– 100 to 500 years
Hair foam Package – 200 to 500 years
A Plastic bottle – 450 years
Disposable diapers – 450 years
Fishing line – 800 years
A plastic bag – 20 a 1000 years
A glass bottle – 1 million years or more
Styrofoam – 1 million years or more

Let's hope those plastic eating fungus grow up really fast!!
