At the moment, there would appear to be three! At the top of the past hour (2:00 AM EDT), the east coast of the US switched from Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) to Eastern Standard Time (EST). Therefore, it is 1:20 AM right now in over half of the country. It is 1:20 CDT for the folks in the Central time zone as well as 1:20 EST for those of us now in the newly-adjusted time zone.

This probably seems silly to most folks, I know, but it is how my mind works, thinking of small details in things. 😁
😊DISCLAIMER: Yes, I fully realize that there are four time zones in force for the continental US, regardless of what the clocks say. This is a light-hearted post, but I know unless I say this I will receive comments about how clueless I am. So there, go clue someone else.

Yes, the US is big, that is why we have so many Time Zones, and it is crazy! The continental US has four Time Zones (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific), and then there's a different one for Alaska, and another one for Hawaii. 😜
