Feeling so sickly as I was for the past few days, I curled into the sofa while watching Chopped in the Food Network and there... I fell asleep.
I could remember @irmao.dan trying to wake me to go up our loft bed for the night. I just didn’t move. And then his mobile phone alarmed at 6:00am and I just ignored until it’s half past six. I don’t have any choice but to proceed with my daily routine of taking a bath, dressing up, kissing him goodbye and leave our very humble abode.
Like other OFW’s (Overseas Filipino Workers), we try to bring “baon” to work just to save some pennies. Mine is a vaccuum tumbler of 0.70 liter brewed coffee, “Kapeng Barako”, which good for the whole day of duty.
However this morning is quite different. I could smell the aroma of coconut oil from the kitchen just a fee steps away from our room. Whoah! He prepared something for today!

Those plus my brewed coffee is just a perfect lunch.

Bringing baon helps me save a lot. Last year I was into having lunch outs until i finally realized that i spent minimum AED 300 a month for my lunch. I just started this month to bring baon and i saved a lot. 😊 btw, where can i get those coffee mixer? Is that the one that can create bubbles? Haha bubbles talaga? Foam po pala? 😁😁😁
