We live in a world full of injustice and pain. We can sink ourselves mentally with it, or we can find fun in creating something positive to deal with the pain. So I participate in Peace Yoga at the Strawberry Fields, the place where John Lennon’s IMAGINE is being honored.

The U.S. Military is building two new bases in Okinawa, Japan, in exactly the area we need to protect. A landfill base on top of a coral reef in Henoko which is the habitat of 262 endangered species. The two airstrips for the U.S. Air Force will make extinct the very rare marine mammals dugong.
And another in the sacred forest in Takae, habitat of 200 endangered species, and a vast array of rare plants.

U.S. government has over 800 military bases worldwide in 80 countries expanding its military forces polluting and destroying our environment.

On Sunday, New York based Japanese activists gathered many petition signatures to stop the construction of the base while we enjoyed peace yoga for Okinawa.
