On the one hand, no, the gubmint should not keep stealing money from taxpayers let alone increase the amount of theft.
On the other hand, gubmint skulez should be abolished... so yes, I do support the teacher walkout, provided the students follow them, the buildings be either razed or made into museums of past follies of our culture, and nobody ever go back there for "school" purposes. They should be centers of education in the sense that museums are centers of education - to learn from the mistakes of history.
