No more easy Steem apparently.
The word on the streets is that HF21 will be the beginning of the end of "easy Steem". Up until now, it's been possible for some people, like yours truly, to earn up to the value of a cup of coffee by posting, well, a cup of coffee.
Even though I haven't been cashing out my Steem, I have to admit having been thinking to myself that these coffees will "pay for themselves" in the future. That is, a coffee related post that makes 4 Steem (hence 3 Steem) is going to bring home $300 when Steem moons to a hundred bucks.
I suspect a post like this, going forward, will draw a few flags (or downvotes or whatever) because they will be perceived as having low value. That's probably a good thing in the long run. Let alone an Appics post. I'll be keeping a keen eye on how the community responds to Appics posts since I'm a regular poster using that dapp.
Also, the fact that you could earn up to 4 Steem in the first place would be hard to believe in the near future. In essence, this final post I'm making on "Old Steem" will serve as a reminder of the good old times when I look back at how things used to be.

I would imagine it's more to deal with the haegins of the platform and plagiarists.

I think people will be too scared of retaliation to do anything about those people to be honest. I think it will make bid bots unprofitable for some users, so we should see fewer rubbish posts in Trending.
I think Appics posts are going to attract lots of flags, especially if they're on some whales autovote. I have a few high(ish) autovoters so I can imagine people would think it's not fair :)

Yeah ,you're one of the fortunate ones (and deservedly so with the excellent Content you produce) who got in on Dtubes curation path. Mine has been up and down with Dtube so I welcome this change of taking more from Authors and giving it to Curators. I have found relying on Dtube to Curate your post is a one way ticket to disappointment, imho

Well... The old steem died 6/7 days ago! :)
I don't see low value in this - whatsoever took you more effort to come up with these words, selfp-portrait and some thinking - not to mention time to make coffee - that is way more effort than lots of the posts out there, and I have seen them all! :D
