I'm going to tell a story that's worth sharing. Yesterday I was enjoying a festival in the town of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. Families and friends were everywhere while live music and machines for the little ones. In front of me was a family and among them was an elderly woman. With a lot of effort and help she needs to be lifted from her chair. Passing by, I saw her sitting next to the bathrooms and I think she's waiting to come in, but the guy who helped her didn't see herself because of all that.
Two minutes later, I saw a row in the bathrooms and among so many people a girl approaches her. After a conversation, the girl gives her some wet wipes so she can use the bathrooms. Followed by this act of kindness comes the boy with napkins in hand. When it's lifted up, the people in line make it pass first.
I share the story, because I am very sensitive to older people. Seeing that lady reminded me of my dear old lady. It is beautiful to see how people with hearts full of goodness still remain.
