This is portrait number 6 of my new styled portraits. Unlike other portraits, i used freakishly lighter colors in this one. Because of course the reference photo had lighter colors. Although i was not successful in completely getting the face right. It kind of does not look like the reference photo. Because there were so little range of colors i had bring in different colors on my own. I hope it looks good enough.

Used Reference Image for structure and style

Here are some process shots:

As usual i started with a rough lined sketch and then drew some details on that. The reference photo was tilted a lot, but i wanted my painting to be not like that. I think thats why the portrait didn't match. the reference was tilted and i was painting it not in the tilted way. I think thats when i messed up some proportions.

After, i used a different layer to paint a base layer. then took a new layer and used layer mask to shade on a completely different layer. At first i used hard edged brush and then i turned down the transfer option and blend the colors properly.

I did the eye details almost at the end. At the end i used the skin texture brush to paint some freckles all around. at a point i thought i painted too much freckles.

Enjoy all of it.
