Just Another #BeautifulSunday
I sure did have a nice Sunday and wanted to share it with my awesome followers!
My son took out the jet ski..
I decided to kayak to where there were some nice water lilies...
Of course I had to get right in among the thick of it to get the shots...
That is a load of Sagittaria latifolia or better known as Arrowhead aquatic plants. Also notice the Mallard duck nesting tube.
Here is a water lily
Unfortunately they were not fully open...just my luck!
So I Decided to Paddle to see a purple plant for #colorchallenge Sunday...
It is an invasive plant called Purple Loosestrife. It is rather pretty but not good for wetlands!

I've always love water lilies. I named my daughter Lillian (Lillie for short) inspired by the flowers. Looks like you had a beautiful day on the water. It looks like a fun area to kayak.
