THIS land is my land… and THAT land is my land too

in oligarchs •  7 years ago

To stop the oligarchs people either need to storm the gates or create their own virtual economy. Given the fact of the apathy of much of the world and being adverse to bloodshed, things are clearly swinging to the abandonment of the fiat and corporate controlled economy as the way of rebellion. Local networks of share and global digital networks of alternative tokens are the new alternatives to weapons. By abandoning the old system the scheme slowly dies being exposed for the insider trading, plutocratic, and rentier scam it has become.

This is subversion via abandonment as more and more look to the alternatives the blockchain offers of transparency and accountability. In the terminal stage IV of exploitative capitalism new alliances of decentralized networks and pockets of local economies will redefine work, leisure, productivity, and integration of automated activities alongside the traditional cultural activities of humans. This will be the new societal balance in civilization orientated around science, technology, and respect for world cultures.

The current path of the U.S. is an unsustainable death trap and debt trap as more is extorted and exported from U.S. main street. Corporations traditionally nurtured by U.S. laborers and weened on tax breaks now have no allegiance and if they already haven’t left the U.S., they are more interested in catering to the Chinese markets, which have now surpassed U.S. consumer power. There is not enough money in the U.S. to be a military superpower, a corporate welfare supporter, and to pamper the oligarchs with tax breaks without robbing the country of decent healthcare, education, transportation, R&D, and other essential infrastructure.

There is no longer a union of the land… it is clearly us vs. THEM. This land ain’t no longer made for you and me.

One of the problematic things is that power comes with money. The people who are able to make a change have an interest to also protect their funds. I know there are also people with power and money who are trying to make a difference in a positive way.

I see something happening with scarcity and fear. I know capitalism creates scarcity to create worth. At the same time when scarcity creates also fear and hate we should take the time to think if that's what we want for this world. I don't know the solution but I see in blockchain an answer (or part answer) and I am truly happy so much people are developing and experimenting.

Yes, great points... money and power corrupt and create conformity. Scarcity and deprivation convince people they should "pay" instead of just taking care and sharing the damn thing in the first place. We are good at trashing things and creating divisions and THEN trying to solve or untangle them, horrible strategies, unless it's all just about making money. Peace

I completely agree! I think the story about Nestle and fresh water is a great example of the strange and awful believes that originate when only thinking in money and power.

Very well articulated! You hit a lot of nails with a single hammer blow.
Wish I had more voting power left but it seems I liked to many articles for the day, so 10% is about I could muster, event though your post deserves 200%.

The phrase that stuck out to me, which I feel is relevant to your piece here, is:

That spiritual jurisdiction trumps any man made jurisdiction here on this planet. But it requires that we abandon those earthly jurisdictions and learn how to properly govern ourselves within the Spiritual jurisdiction that we represent here on Earth.

I believe that as more folks wake up to the corruption and greed running rampant in our world they will turn to new technology/blockchain/crypto et al for peaceful solutions.

We will see it when we believe it!

xox
