Review of the Onion Omega 2+ Microcontroller . . . Is there Room for the Onion?

I was excited to see a new microcontroller platform introduced which runs a lite version of linux and looks promising for IoT applications. In the review below I put the Onion through its paces and report my findings. Enjoy!
