Where is their leader? Why it matters?

Where is their leader?

In Search of the Truth Behind the Flock of Wolves:

The first three wolves (red oval) are old and sick. They are the most experienced, visionary and purposeful with destination in mind. The front ones need a speedy right move to ensure that the group is safe and sound.

The five wolves (blond rectangle) walking directly behind the old are the strongest and the best. Their mission is to protect the front elder during any unprecedented attack. The herd in between are usually safe during an attack.

The blue square with five wolves represents those who are good and healthy. Their mission is to protect enemy from behind in case of attack from the back.

The last one is the true leader. He has got full responsibility, making sure that each of the group is safe and not left behind unattended. He is the one who makes sure that the whole group has one direction. He is also well protected if the situation is worst; he can always flee to safety.

Leadership is not about being in charge. Leadership is about taking care of those in your charge (Simon Sinek).19554290_1148443328632626_362428519678246500_n.jpg

I saw this picture a few days ago and I'm still amazed at what an incredible planet we live on with such intricate bonds.

I told my three-year old girl that the planet earth is strange and she says what do you really mean? I am speechless.

"He is also well protected if the situation is worst; he can always flee to safety."

Which would make him the smartest should he choose not to risk his life in joining any fray that might arise. imo This is why most leaders lead from behind. To survive with new intelligence and to consolidate, if any, the survivors...should he choose to.

Also it is also of interest to note that the three "oldest and sick" are left the task of breaking ground in difficult terrain. A truly selfless act from those who know they are on their way to spirit...as they have witnessed of others before them.

I would call them the true leaders of the pack (a term I'm more familiar with...not a correction) They still teach the current leader and any other that is smarter and perhaps more courageous than the current one...contemplating the instinct to challenge his dominance.

These are only my observations from your post, the photo and your words. Another observation, unrelated to your post, is that often...life is not fair. I did enjoy this...I mean no disrespect.

@cryptologyx Cant agree more on the leadership trait. The elder are the best teachers and true leaders behind the greatest. I oftentimes tell my juniors that should you wish to know the way forward, ask those who already come back...

thank you for saying so @digitalist...it is a sad fact that some cultures have little to no regard for their elders. Your children are very lucky to have a wise father such as you.

On a side note...I notice you have quite the following for a minnow...much kudos to you! I was taught that you don't get if you don't ask...and that that doesn't mean you always get when you do. I've entered a challenge...quite a difficult one for me.

I wonder if you might have a look at my most recent blog post. I won't presume to drop a link here. I'm sure you know how to get there from here. If you think it worthy perhaps a resteem will help me get eyes on the piece and more comments for me to reply to. Replying with substance is a requirement of the challenge and the daily average is going up exponentially if I don't find a way to get other Steemians to my page.

So I've asked, and I leave the decision to your good judgement. No hard feeling either way I assure you.

Sometimes it is really hard to tell if robots are around these days...just touch them and feel if they are human. It simply means I love writing only.
