Meherpur office: One year prisoner of a fake doctor named Mein Uddin Farid has been imprisoned in Meherpur. On Monday evening, Meherpur Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Md. Samul Huq administers that court. The deceased doctor was working as a resident medical officer of the new private hospital, Life Care D. Lab and Hospital, of Meherpur. He is the son of Nurul Alam of Chowda village of Comilla.
Executive Magistrate Md. Samul Haque said, on the basis of complaint, on the directive of Deputy Commissioner Parimal Singh, in the Life Care D Lab and Hospital, they are directed to see the medical certificate, educational qualification certificate and BMDC certificate of the fake doctor Moinuddin Farid. He showed only a fake BMDC certificate. Which is another name of Moinuddin. He also said that for the crime, in the 28 and 29 of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council Act 2010, using fraudulent representation and misinterpretation of surname, six months of imprisonment has been given to one year.
Omar Faruq, a member of the Board of Directors of Life Care D-Lab and Hospital Ltd, said that as a new institution we did not know his certificate was fake. We recommend taking maximum punishment against him. Someone may not misbehave with the common people by misbehaving a doctor.
