One Ledger is a blockchain protocol with cross-ledger integration built for high-performance and scalability.
This high performance and scalability are achieved due to their own consensus mechanism and the One Ledger sidechains. This allows the development of "off-chain" solutions that do most of the work in the fast One Ledger sidechains before syncing to the main networks (Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc.).
Another core premise of this project is to be business oriented and ease the blockchain adoption among the small businesses and enterprises.
This way projects being developed on top of the One Ledger API gateway can focus only on developing their business logic and not worrying about any specific blockchain integrations.
They can even launch any number of side-chains they want and decide which one of those chains will be permissioned or permissionless. This choice will then affect the way the consensus is achieved inside those side-chains.
The development of dApps will also be facilitated by an SDK that will allow the deployment of multiple networks without the need to rewrite the code for every blockchain.
For more in-depth information on the technical side of this project, please refer to their white paper.
Product & Roadmap
The roadmap is also another interesting point of this project.
According to the plans, until the end of Q2 (this month!!), they are planning to release the Ethereum sidechain testnet and launch and MVP with cross-chain consensus. From a quick search on their telegram, seems like they are on track and the MVP release should be coming soon (not from official sources).
For the post ICO roadmap, they plan to release the Bitcoin sidechain release an Alpha version of the One Ledger platform, featuring the API gateway and all the other components, until the end of 2018. In general, very exciting roadmap.
Team & Advisors
In relation to the team and advisors, they seem to have put together a really solid foundation for this project. The team is really experienced and with a good division of knowledge between tech, business, and marketing.
Since this is an infrastructure project, my review was more focused on the tech side of the team. And, from IBM to Nokia to previous blockchain projects, this team seems to have the necessary industry experience to deliver a project like this.

Personal Review and Score
To finalize this review here follows my personal score of this project. Below are a list of characteristics and metrics that I look at when analyzing and ICO. These points go from idea to team, marketing, and token sale conditions.
Bear in mind that this is just my personal opinion and not financial advice. Always do your own research.
The final score was 83/100. This was one of the best scores I have got so far in my reviews and, personally as a software developer, I am very excited with projects like One Ledger that abstract all the blockchain complexity and let you focus on building your own applications in a fast and scalable way.
Hope this review was useful. Definitely take a look at this project and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
