Today was a very windy day and it is still windy right now.
It all started yesterday around 4pm when a patient told me it was going to be very windy today per the news on TV. I was hoping it was exaggerated reports as there have been times when the weather forecasts was not quite as predicted.
So last night, when I got off, it was indeed so windy that when I was driving I felt the force of the wind pushing my car out of my lane on a number of occasions. When I finally arrived home I had to change my sleeping position from closer to the window. The thought of a tree falling through the window was all I needed to do a 180 lol. This morning I got up the same weather. A trees fell and there were branches all over.

There was also damages done to some building structures at work.
At one point today I considered sleeping at work but after talking to others I changed my mind. In the past, i have come very close to staying during bad weather conditions, but I always drove home despite the warnings.
On a lighter note, I got another guy on my job to sign up to Steemit today. I literally made him sign up while I watched.
So I gave him a general idea of how Steemit works and he was interested and he would sign up. So I asked him why not now? He wasn't doing anything at the time so he did sign up. His name is Antwan.
He loves photography, and also drawing...I will let him do the rest of his introduction.
So he should be starting in a couple of weeks.
I know others that I think I can convince to sign up.😊

Whao. that was a strong wind. I usually try to stay put in a safe place whenever it gets windy. Because you can never tell, what might drop off. Trees, roofings etc.

Hi @cinefilo, no Antwan isn't sick. What I meant by he wasn't doing anything is he wasn't busy at that moment so he had time to sign up immediately.
I think Antonella is a pretty name.
This kind of weather is not that common here. We do have windy days from time to time but this one was quite strong. I think they said it was blowing as fast as 30 miles/hour.
