One photo every day: Something in my sleeve (270/365)

in onephotoeveryday •  7 years ago  (edited)

Since I didn't have any ideas today either, I just decided to give you guys a heavily edited photo of Kiemis.

"Oh - Hai!"

I find Kiemis likes to spend time in my sleeves while I use my computer. Although it's a bit difficult to use the mouse when she does this.

Sorry if i've not been too active on Steem lately, it's like Markku said, I've been a bit busy. While setting ourselves up a company, we are also looking for a new apartment nearer to our boys' school. Something that doesn't end up breaking the bank for us. (We are still wanting a house of our own, but I guess it's better to wait and see what becomes of our recent fortunes.)

So shooting photos has not been the first thing on my mind. I apologize again. I hope that as things get rolling I can concentrate on shooting. Don't worry, I'll still be posting daily photos. I'm not just very confident they'll be my best pics for at least a while.

But I'm still hopeful, you never know what comes up tomorrow. :)

Its alright Jaro no need to apologise but its so nice of you. Just feel free to post whatever you want to :D (lately I'm feeling bit grumpy :P with this slushy weather but atleast days are getting longer and sun is shining :D, trying to be positive how much )

Oh, those hearts! I'm pretty sure this part is what you meant by heavily edited, right?

I wish you good luck with the moving! And you have a beautiful pet.. they always find weird places to spend time in. :)

Thank you! We are still on the lookout, but we've set up some viewings already. Hoping to find a place that's in a good condition. There's been a lot of talk about mold problems in buildings lately, so we are trying to make sure we won't get our fingers burned while choosing a new home.

Because of your prior exposure to residential buildings with microbial toxins, you are better able to sense them during a viewing than the average person. I'm in that camp, too, although my exposure hasn't been as severe as yours. Use it to your advantage.

I was actually going to comment that you should post a photo of Kiemis yesterday and now you did it. And also don't worry, it feels like most of us are busy right now

@gamer00,
I hope you will find the house as you thought! And hope at the end of this year STEEMIT and STEEM will help you to buy a house without worries as well!
Nice photography of your pet sneak! Take your time, no worries about STEEMIT! Whatever you post, you got our support!

Cheers~

Sometimes life gets in the way. No problem. After this little break from shooting fresh photos, it is more likely that you'll find your missing inspiration and come back stronger. That's the way the mind works. I've noticed the same many times over in my time as a go player.

Snakes are worshiped in India and there is even a festival called 'Nag Panchami', but we are not allowed to have them as pets. Its nice in Finland you can have them.
Nice to see your pet and don't apologize. Take care Jaro @gamer00! 👍

You must have to go through lot of tickling... Anyways it looks wonderful.. And of course you could take your time because we know you are here and not leaving us anyway.

That feeling when your snake shares the same feeling with you.
That's the power of love between parent and it's snake.

It must feel very comfortable. and it must be because of the heat generated by his body. It must be very funny to see him in person. Hahaha

Don't worry everything will work out in the end somehow.
Waiting for the footage of your new place when you find one lol.

I think it would be cool if you played poker and someone questioned you "What do you have up your sleeve?" And then you pulled out the snake and said "All in!" That would give them quite a jolt. :-)

No need to be apologize sometimes things get crowded and you must have priorities and the inspiration will return with the new apartment and the move so that sounds exciting :D so best luck and one last thing.

what is this? I got scared! Maybe its a snake 🐍

It's your pet. It's so terrible that you stay away from it, you might be harmed.

I guess she did try strangling me today, but as she's just a small snake, she couldn't do much. She's not poisonous so we don't have to fear her biting, she much prefers strangling instead.

But you should stay sway from this snakes because you know snakes is the top harmful animal in this world. So my friend please stay away from this.

Snakes harmful? I think I can't agree on that. I think snakes are one of the most beneficial animals in, and to the whole animal kingdom and even us humans. They keep the pest populations (both insects and rodents) down and prevent destruction of crops, and also many deadly diseases from spreading.

I can't think of a one thing they could be considered harmful for, other than that some of them are poisonous. But even those snakes have their place, and since their poison has been studied a lot it's very likely there are a few potent medicines that are waiting to be found in that research.

Snakes by and far, are magnificent animals. Very important and beneficial. Nothing to be scared of, unless you live in an area where snakes are very poisonous and plentiful.

Our pet is not poisonous though, so we have little to fear, if not her getting a cold. If left untreated, that can be a deadly disease for a snake. Our Kiemurainen (that's her name) caught a cold last Christmas, and we had to give her medication as injections. That was kind of unnerving, but it all turned out well and she got better in the end.

I think you're right, snakes are very useful for us because snake poisoning has made us a lot of important medicines like snake poison is currently being used to make cancer drugs, without which it is not possible to make cancer medicines. But friend, you also have to agree with my words, because the poisonous venom of human body is very harmful for the human body. But your snake is small and it looks very short and cute!

Have you started snake pets now?😰 I heard this first time that snakes also pet!☺

She's our boys' pet, but they rarely care for her so she's been mostly the responsibility of Vera and me. They got her from their aunt 1½ years ago.

Now she is very happy to get everyone?

@gamer00, Nice hearts edited one Kiemis. He hidden on cam and weird expression on face.

Your pet snake currently shown massive growth-up. Kiemis wanna ready to give heart to another. Precious heart editing.

@gamer00 take your time good luck and best wishes for your all projects.
Kiemi is your pet right but it's lil scary for me means Kiemis is in your sleeves amazing

beautiful photo.
I will wait every day photos from you @gamer00 beautiful photo.

Something that doesn't end up breaking the bank for us.

I dont really know the basis for this, but I think several things contribute to such. In Nigeria, you get a very good apartment for 1000 usd to 4000 usd per year. Sometimes with or without services. Although, location determines alot of things. And in many countries in the Europe and America, that is like 3 months pay for a fairly decent house. I wish someone will put up good finding why houses/rents are expensive in these countries. It seems people earn more there but spend alot of it on house rent.

I like the edited photo of Kiemis, especially the love sign

How much does a Nigerian builder make per year?

Thats not easy to estimate since they earn based on if they get contracted for work or not.

The point is that their pay is nowhere near how much builders get paid in Western Europe or North America. Probably something like five to fifteen times less. The difference is similar in every other field, which goes a very long way towards explaining the difference between the cost of housing.

Now I understand. I have not move closer to masons in Mexico, to have an idea of how much they collect.

Mexico most definitely has a lower cost of living compared to the US or Canada.

Keimis has a nice tatoo!
It’s cool to have a snake in one’s sleeve!
Good thing she remember you as a friend.

Am always surprised with how you feel comfortable with Kiemis in your sleeve. It's a snake mehn, I'd still be scared.

Cute snek, but I have no idea how you can just chill with her in your clothes.

Life comes before steemit mate, I'm sure most of us understand.

@gamer00 - Sir I wish you can find an apartment near to your children's' school... God bless you & your family too Sir...
