Thank you! I really appreciate this, because at times I come to question whether I truly succeed in being a parent. Positive reinforcement like yours is always appreciated. :)

Just remember that there is no such thing as a perfect parent. Even if a child has bad parents it can still turn out just fine (not saying that you're a bad parent :D).

Reading to your kids is one of the best ways to keep the connection between you and your sons. Also overall just you being a father figure is really important for them. I can tell this from an experience since I never really had a father figure which has made my life harder in some aspects.

I've seen examples of bad parenting among the classmates and friends of my daughters. None warrant any kind of interventions but those examples really drive home the lack of perfect parenting.
