One Punch Man raises a feared figure because it has unlimited abilities. This Japanese manga series tells of a superhero named Saitama who can kill anyone with one hit.
Anime fans are starting to speculate about some anime and Fiction characters who can beat Saitama. Starting from Superman, and Thanos, to Son Goku. The following are anime characters and fictional characters who can defeat Saitama from the Pausdulu.com version.
- Muzan Kibutsuji (Demon Slayer)
Muzan's only weakness is sunlight which is why he tries to get Nezuko's blood. If he got the blood of Nezuko who was his guinea pig, he would be able to live eternally even under the sun.
It is possible that Muzan's physical strength will not match Saitama's, but Saitama still will not be able to kill Muzan because Muzan can regenerate easily as long as it is not exposed to sunlight. Muzan also can't be killed like a normal demon with his head cut off.
But that's just a possibility. In fact, as a demon that has lived for 1,000 years since the Heian Period, almost no demon hunters have been able to kill him. So Saitama won't be able to beat Muzan easily, let alone with just one hit.
Muzan can easily kill the lives of his demons who are desperately defeated by the Hashira and often die. Even Muzan could be attracted by Saitama's power and decide to turn Saitama into an upper moon demon.
Muzan can also read his own demon's mind and Saitama will not be able to rebel. But Saitama still has a chance to win. He can kill Muzan before Muzan escapes when the sun rises at his super speed.
- Misa Amane (Death Note)
Many doubt that Light Yagami can kill Saitama with the Death Note. This is because Saitama itself is inspired by the name of a prefecture or province in Japan.
Death Note regulations require users to write down the real names of potential victims. The first and most basic thing in using the Death Note is to write down the name of the victim. The problem is, that this death record will not work if the victim's name is not a real name, and the same applies to Saitama.
One anime writer or Yuusuke Murata admits that Saitama is the name of a region in Japan. In addition, hearing the name "Saitama", must be the first thing that crosses the mind of the user, the super genius Kira/Light Yagami, thinking, is Saitama the real name of the bald one?
The second thing besides the real name needed to kill someone using the Death Note is having to know the person's real face. Saitama's face before and after being bald is quite different, you know! Plus sometimes for comedic purposes, Saitama's face and appearance also change. Even for serious moments, Saitama's face and appearance often change.
His facial changes are always accompanied by a drastic “evolution”—which sometimes even confuses fans: is that Saitama? Confused fans also believe that Saitama cannot be killed using the Death Note. There is still a possibility that Saitama's name is not his real name or just a nickname that someone else gave him. Things like this often happen, even in the Death Note manga itself, the characters Mello and Near who are potential replacements for L are not their real names
The single biggest weakness of Kira or Light Yagami is that he doesn't have Shinigami eyes. For those who don't know, this shinigami eye is the eye given by the god of death to the owner of the Death Note. These eyes can make the owner see the real name of everyone present without exception. Yes, until the end of the story, Light Yagami does not have Shinigami eyes.
Without those eyes, Light Yagami wouldn't be able to write Saitama's real name. Perhaps, this can be done by other characters who have Shinigami eyes like Misa Amane. But there is another reason why even though he has shinigami eyes, Saitama can't be killed using the Death Note.
To prove that it's a real name or not, Death Note users need Shinigami eyes! But Misa Amane, Light's lover, has Shinigami eyes that Light doesn't. Misa can see Saitama's real name and even see the rest of his life.
- Tatsumaki (One Punch Man)
Tatsumaki's Telekinesis being able to beat here doesn't mean killing, right? Tatsumaki has an ability that can practically paralyze Saitama in theory on paper.
In the OPM Universe, the antagonist's fault is to attack by getting closer to Saitama and they usually use physical strength which of course will not affect Saitama. Let alone an ordinary blow, the sword was broken by Saitama.
Here Tatsumaki has the advantage over Saitama. Tatsumaki's first advantage is that his attack range is quite far and he can knock people out from a distance as well. If Saitama is careless and fights Tatsumaki, this power can be used to knock Saitama off repeatedly to keep his distance.
The second is flying, Tatsumaki can fly while Saitama can only jump high. Tatsumaki can dodge Saitama's attack in the air when Saitama jumps at him and of course by just jumping Saitama's speed will certainly slow down in the air and this can be used by Tatsumaki to throw Saitama away.
So how did Tatsumaki win? As long as Tatsumaki flies and doesn't touch the ground, Tatsumaki has the advantage. He can lead their fight to a very cold area like Antarctica and drown Saitama to freeze or if possible maybe Tatsumaki can make a thick chunk of ice and imprison Saitama there, with a note Saitama must freeze and can't move.
Tatsumaki also has to dodge every one of Saitama's attacks because one hit by Saitama can kill him.
- Doraemon
Let alone against Saitama, against Thanos alone Doraemon is guaranteed to win with various magical tools such as time machines, dictator buttons, to reality-changing telephone boxes. As the strongest fictional character of all time he just uses tong teng tong teng, uwa-wa-wa-wa "Suppose Phone Box" and says: "Suppose Saitama is weak and as small as an ant", "Suppose Saitama is afraid of Doraemon", etc. It's over.
To fight Saitama, Doraemon will return to the past and prevent Saitama from doing his training so that it is not as strong as it is now. Even if Doraemon had no moral compass at all he could have killed Saitama before his hair fell out and became One Punch Man.
Doraemon can also easily create multiverses using only a payphone model machine in the wizarding world movie. He looks like if you take it into a serious plot, the original is a super god haha...
- God Beerus and Zeno (Dragon Ball)
If our Zeno has no comment, the universe will run out if he wants to delete it. King Kai once mentioned that Beerus' strength was "far beyond strong"! As the God of Destruction, he can also use his power to destroy planets and can split the planets with a speck of his fingernail also mentioned by the Supreme Kai, this being is capable of destroying entire universes with his full power when provoked! Like a planet that Beerus destroys when bored!
- Pennywise (It)
In the film itself, the explanation of what and who Pennywise is is deliberately not explored so deeply, to simplify the story. The clues we can take from the film, Pennywise is a creature that can change shape (shape shifter) into something we fear the most (like the Boggart in Harry Potter).
His favorite form is a dancing clown named Pennywise (Mr Bob Gray). Pennywise would wake up from his slumber once every 27 years, after feeling full he would go back to sleep.
In It, chapter 2 explained a little how Pennywise came to earth. He fell from space thousands of years ago, falling in an area that would later become the city where The Losers Club lived, namely Derry. Although Pennywise is said to have existed on earth for thousands of years, Pennywise only woke up in 1715.
Pennywise will finally find something Saitama feared. Saitama is human, he has emotions, and he fears. Pennywise can find his fear and use it against him, and even if he gets hit he can come back, the only reason the Losers Club beat him is that The Turtle (Pennywise's enemy, a benevolent creature that matches Pennywise's powers) helps them defeat him, and despite this, Pennywise can return, the clown we see is not his true form.
The true Pennywise exists in a dimension known as the "Macrocosmos" with a form that induces insanity/catatonia/suicide in anyone who sees it (Beverly is in a strange state of seeing the future when Pennywise shows the 3 Orange Lights known as the "Dead Lights" which is said to be a part from its original form), and the entities we see are like avatars.
Even if Pennywise is punched with Saitama's maximum strength against Boros, he can grow back, or just show Saitama his true form (or just Deadlights) and prompt him to commit suicide or catatonia.
It's easy to say that Pennywise is also a manifestation of our worst nightmares or worst fears, there's a reason Pennywise prefers to hunt children over adults. First, children are easier to hunt. Second, according to Pennywise, children have a tastier taste.
How did it happen? Children have more simple and pure fears, basic fears. While adults have fears that tend to be more complex, for example, adults are more afraid of falling into poverty suddenly than the monster under the bed.
