"I NEED THAT GEM!"

Preparing for what you assume isn't just a mock-trial for you final statement, but rather the actual last moment you have to speak, you scream out that you need that gem!
Then, silence... Rather than the bridge collapsing, which you assumed it would, you are instead met with the intrigued glare from the witch staring back at you.

"Interesting...", she responds, "Very interesting..."
Suddenly, the gem in her hand vanishes. It was just a mere illusion after all. You then feel a force of wind sweep you to the other side of the bridge. It moves you like a leaf, dropping you with force at the feet of the witch. She stares down at you with intensity and demands:
"Traveler, I'm afraid you're trial is not complete."

Placing her hand on your forehead, her eyes turn blood red as she speaks with a deep & distorted register:
"GODS OF DEATH, I CALL UPON YOU. KEEP AN EYE ON MY SERVANT, AND PUNISH THEIR DISOBEDIENCE. I COMMAND THEM TO RETRIEVE THE GEM AND BRING IT BACK TO ME, OR DEATH WILL FOLLOW SUIT."

She clenches her hand, digging her nails into your skin and drawing a small amount of blood before she releases you.
