In an utter state of confusion and slight fear, you stare at the man whose now forcefully grabbing hold of your arm and tugging you along through a twisted and tight tunnel system and you ask him what in the world, old or new, just happened back there.

The man doesn't even grant you a look back, he continues looking straight ahead and attempts to brush it off with a simple and uncaring: "Yes, yes. They love their new hero..."

Feeling the continued restraint in your movement, the man eventually looks back at you and realizes that answer may not have been satisfactory enough. Without stopping, he offers another:
"I told you. These scrolls allow us to do wonderful things. That servant is honored to have served such a great purpose with his life. Most of these lower tiered workers will never accomplish what he did back there. He gave his life to advance us to the new age, what more could one ask for?"

The two of you finally reach the end of the tunnel. Explosive light shines through from a hole in the ceiling. The man places his hands on the side of your head and guides you to look out at the world.
"Look...", he says eerily, "Look at what we are trying to fix..."

You can see a busy city, the likes of which you've never seen, only heard of before. From the small slice that's visible to you, you can spot luxury buildings, people walking around in lavish clothes and covered in expensive jewelry. Whatever town this is, you can tell only the rich and powerful live here.
Despite seeing them, you get the feeling that from where you are, now one in the town would be able to spot you for some reason...
