1. Irene Dunne
Irene Dunne was an American film actress and singer who was a 5 time nominee for Academy Award for Best Actress.
She started acting in Broadways and eventually got her first movie acting opportunity in the movie Leathernecking in 1930.
That paved way for her t get into movies like Back Street, Magnificent Obsession, Love Affair, Theodora Goes Wild, Life With Father, My Favorite Wife.
She is often regarded as the best actress who never won an Academy Award.
In 1957, She was appointed to United Nations as one of the 5 alternative delegates from United States by the then President of America, Eisenhower.
She has a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.
2. Thomas Graham
Thomas Graham was an Scottish chemist who is regarded as the father of colloid chemistry.
He is remembered for his works on dialysis and diffusion of gases.
Dialyzer is something used to separate colloids and crystalloids and the same process is being used in modern kidney dialysis machines with the process of dialyzer.
Graham was a Honorary Fellow of Royal Society of Edinburgh and a Fellow of Royal Society of London.
He was also the first president of Chemical Society of London.
3. Darren Sammy
Darren Sammy is a West Indies cricket player who is a 2 time T20 Cricket World Cup winning captain.
He has the distinction of being the first player from St. Lucia island to play international cricket.
Sammy started his Test career against England and returned with an innings bowling figures of 7 for 66 and match figures of 8 for 102.
7 for 66 remains the best bowling figures by a debutant (after 7 for 22 by Malcolm Marshall in 1988) at Old Trafford where the match was played.
4. Kim Young-sam
Kim Young-sam was a South Korean politician and democratic activist who was the President of South Korea from 1993 to 1998.
He was opposition leader for almost 30 years.
He was the first civilian to be the president in over 30 years as the previous 2 presidents were the military personnel occupied office through coups.
5. Rik Van Looy
Rik Van Looy is a Belgian former professional cyclist who is a 2 time world professional road race champion.
He is nicknamed as "King of Classics" and "Emperor of Herentals".
He was the first to win all 5 monuments (Milan–San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Paris–Roubaix, Liège–Bastogne–Liège and Giro di Lombardia).
He is overall 9th on the Grand Tour stage winners with a win tally of 37.
