This is an effort to provide some information on Five selected famous personalities born on this day. Due to some personal issues, I couldn't write this blog on 1st of March, but as I intend to write a blog on every day about Birthdays of people on that day, I am completing this today and here is the information.

1. Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer and songwriter who is the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100 with his debut album EP, My World released in 2009.
Bieber is among the world's best selling music artists at the age of 24 and has sold over 140 millions records worldwide and is also the second person to reach 100 million followers on twitter(after Katy Perry).
Forbes has named Bieber among Top 10 most powerful celebrities in the world for years 2011, 2012 and 2013.
He also holds the record for being the first artist to surpass the 10 billion total video views on Vevo (an American multinational video hosting service).
Bieber is a winner of 17 American Music Awards, 14 Billboard Music Awards, 2 Brit Awards, 1 Grammy Award, 14 Guinness World Records and 2 Latina American Music Awards.
2. Ron Howard
Ron Howard is an American actor and filmmaker who is a 2 time Academy Award winner along with 2 time Golden Globe awards and a Grammy Award.
He has acted on television sitcoms as well and has 2 stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame (once for television and other one for his movies acting).
He was part of television show The Andy Griffith Show for 8 years and has acted in films like The Music Man, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, American Graffiti, Grand Theft Auto to name a few.
He has directed some of the blockbuster movies like Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, The Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon.
Howard is a winner of National Medal of Arts in 2003.
He has been inducted into Television Hall of Fame in 2013 and has 2 Stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame.
3. David Niven
David Niven was an English actor, novelist and memoir who is famous for his roles in movies like A Matter of Life and Death, Around the World in 80 Days and The Pink Panther.
He was an Academy Award winner for Best Actor category for movie Separate Tables.
He was voted as the Second Most popular British actor in 1945 in a popularity poll conducted by British Film Stars.
Niven had authored 4 books including his autobiography The Moon's a Balloon, which sold over 5 million copies.
Besides Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Niven won 2 Golden Globe Awards and has 2 stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame.
4. Mary Kom
Mary Kom is an Indian Olympic boxer who is a 5 time amateur boxing champion and is the only woman boxer who has won a medal in each of the 6 world championships.
She is also a bronze medal winner in 2012 London Olympics.
Nicknamed as Magnificent Mary, she was nominated for Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Indian parliament by President of India in 2016.
She is an awardee of India's awards for sportsmen Rajiva Gandhi Khel Ratna Award and Arjuna Award and third and fourth highest Indian civilian awards Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri respectively.
5. Archer Martin
Archer Martin was an English chemist and inventor of partition chromatography(a laboratory technique for the separation of a mixture) along with Richard Synge and both of them were awarded with Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1952.
Martin worked in Dunn Nutritional Laboratory and Boots Pure Drug Company and then head of Physical chemistry division at National Institute for Medical Research.
He is notable for publishing far lesser papers for a Nobel Laureate, all in all a 70 papers and his 9th paper won him the Nobel Prize.
I didn't know about all of them but knew about Mary Kom and Justin.
I am not following the news now a days so don't know how they celebrated their birthdays.

Oh papi! Most people just know Justin Bieber. And I'm one of those. I've seen movie about Mary kom. And thanks for providing such value to me. I never knew about the three of them until now. Justin Bieber is world famous through his music, through his girlfriends, through his style.
Our own Mary Kom eventhough not that famous, but she has made us proud by her performances whether it's Olympics, or World championships or Commonwealth games.
David Niven and Ron Howard aren't known much to we Indians I think, but they are world class actors and have won Oscars through their acting and direction.
And last but not least, I like to include someone from science background, because they do all their work away from that stardom and camera action, but their effort not less than anybody else, hence, Archer Martin is featured in this article.

I think yes, the film stars will be more publicized and because we watch more and more movies, it's customary that we remember the actors.
I always try to include at-least one scientist who has contributed with something helpful to the mankind and one sports person ta make it 5 people from 5 different professions, but sometimes, it's more of actors only.

I actually found you on the curation trail top 200 list. I was thinking I've seen that user name all over the place where do I know this person? Then it hit me you are in that gondor group. I actually wanted to touch base with you and get your temperature on possibly joining a curation trial at a small weight to conserve your voting power, and one that you will be getting max curation rewards as me and the newbies vote on all the smaller fish posts first, allowing bigger fish, like yourself to hop in behind and vote at 30 minutes and lock up bigger curation reward chunks. It's nice to know about the curation trail and I will surely join that, but right now the problem I face is that, my voting power is not at all touching 80% because my SP is very low (by this time you might know I am not having delegated SP from @fulltimegeek) and I have to use 100% voting to give the author a 0.03 SBD vote, I don't want to vote with lesser voting power where my vote is not even worth 0.01 SBD worth.
