1. Bob Marley

Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer, songwriter who is considered as the icon of international music and culture.

He started as a singer for music band Wailers in 1963 and was part of it until 1974 when the band got dismantled and started singling solo with the album Exodus in 1977, which made him world famous.

Bob Marley is considered as world's best selling artists of all time with a sale of more than 75 million records.

Bob Marley was awarded with Peace Medal of the Third World by United Nations, Jamaican Order of Merit(Third highest honour in Jamaica), Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

He has a Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004.

2. Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan was an American senator and 40th President of United States who was an actor before turning into politician.

He started as an actor in 1937 and continued until he became governor of of California in 1967.

After 2 unsuccessful attempts in 1968 and 1976, Reagan finally won the Presidential elections in 1980 to become the President in 1981.

As Governor of California and then as President, Reagan was known for his actions against protests, war on drugs, foreign affairs were the major points.

He was awarded with Presidential Medal of Freedom, Congressional Gold Medal, Order of the White Eagle(Poland's highest distinction).

3. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan

Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan was an freedom fighter and activist who was born in present day Pakistan.

Khan was known as Frontier Gandhi because of his actions as non violent protest against British rule just like Mahatma Gandhi.

He was against the decision of All India Muslim League's Partition of India.

He was honoured with India's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna in 1987.

4. Fred Trueman

Fred Trueman was an English cricketer who played as a fast bowler and was the first to take 300 wickets in test cricket.

In the 67 test matches he played, he took 307 wickets.

He was named Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1953. He was also honoured with Order of the British Empire.

5. William P. Murphy

William P. Murphy was an American physician who worked on curing Macrocytic Anemia and was co-winner of Nobel Prize in 1934 in Physiology or Medicine along with George Richards Minot and George Hoyt Whipple for their invention on devising and treating macrocytic Anemia.

He along with his researchers experimented on dogs by bleeding those to anemic and then treated those with various substances to check their improvement, this is one of the major advances in the field of medicine.

Murphy was part of inaugural Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting held in 1951 where 6 other Nobel Laureates also took part.
