1. George Harrison

George Harrison was an English guitarist, singer, songwriter and also producer who was part of the music band The Beatles and was referred as the quiet Beatle.

He was known to have introduced the Indian culture in the Beatles music by using Indian instrumentation and Hindu aligned spirituality.

Besides being part of the Beatles, he also released solo albums and was famous for his solo songs.

He was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2 times (once for the band, the Beatles and other time for his solo work).

He won 4 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award for Original Music Score (as part of the Beatles) and has a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

2. Farokh Engineer

Farokh Engineer is a former Indian cricketer who was a wicketkeeper and a useful lower order batsman.

He played for India between 1959 to 1975 and also for England's domestic county team of Lancashire from 1968 to 1976.

He was named Indian cricketer of the Year in 1965 and an awardee of India's fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri.

He works as a match referee in Indian Premier League.

3. Bobby Riggs

Bobby Riggs was an American amateur and professional tennis player who was world number 1 and winner of Wimbledon, US Open and runner up at French Open.

He is famous for his match against former world number 1 women's player Billie Jean King which was known as Battle of the Sexes and the winner takes-all prize with $100,000, which Riggs lost.

He was also one time grand-slam doubles winner and 2 times mixed doubles winner.

He was inducted into International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1967.

4. Danny Denzongpa

Danny Denzongpa is an Indian actor who mainly acts in Bollywood films along with other Indian languages with acting in about 190 movies.

He is considered as one of the best villain actor of Bollywood with his acting in movies like Dharm Aur Qanoon, Agneepath, Jeeo Aur Jeene Do, Dhund to name a few.

He has won 2 Filmfare Awards and was nominated for the same for 8 other times.

He has been honoured by Indian government with fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri in 2003.

5. Tom Courtenay

Tom Courtenay is an English actor who acted in 1960's with movies like Billy Liar, Doctor Zivago, The Dresser.

He started his career as a stage actor in 1960 and has been nominated twice to Academy Awards, twice to BAFTA awards four times besides winning it once as a newcomer and has won a Golden Globe award.

On this day I see the birth of mostly creative personalities). Thanks to you, I can see it! This day our youngest son was born. Therefore, my two sons have a birthday in February)).

That's right, this list has an singer, a cricketer, a tennis player and 2 actors and each of them have made their country proud with their performances in the field they have worked.
