So guys today I'll be teaching you people, how to get the upcoming AIRDROP by ONTOLOGY.

This coin will be distributed for free to everyone currently holding Neo coin.

Ontology actually doesn't wanna do ICO like other companies would do, instead what they are doing is donating 20 million ONT to the NEO Council and the council has also decided to airdrop these free tokens (I explained the difference between a token and a coin in this video tutorial) to everyone currently holding NEO coin.

The token will be distributed at height 1,974,823 which was calculated to be around 1st of March 2018.

When the distribution is done on the 1st of March at block height 1974823, you'll get 0.2 ONT token for each NEO you hold. check the current block height here

0.1 ONT token out of the 0.2 AIRDROPPED token will be tradable and the other half will be locked until Q2 2018.

So that means you'll get 0.1 ONT token first for each NEO you hold, while the other will be available around the 2nd quarter of 2018 on ONT main net.

HOW TO GET THE ONT AIRDROP

like I said before, the airdrop will be given to those already holding neo, so you need to be holding NEO coin before then.

so let's just dive right into that and see how we can buy NEO and HODL NEO.

THE easiest way to know where you can buy NEO is by going to coinmarketcap.com search and click NEO.

then click market and choose any of the exchange market you're familiar with. I'll recommend you use binance, so click here to register on binance

After registering on binance and setting up your Google authenticator on binance, next thing to do is getting the coins you wanna use to buy neo on binance exchange.

The best place to store your cryptocurrencies is in their wallet and since we are talking about NEO , the best place to store NEO right now is in its wallet. to get NEO wallet go to neo.org scroll down and click "go to download page".

Choose anyone compatible with your system or better still, us the mobile wallet.

Another interesting thing to note about holding NEO in its wallet is that you get free GAS coin for holding NEO coin and 1 GAS is around $44 currently.
