Open Bazaar, the decentralized, anonymous and autonomous Blockchain powered online market place has seen an upgrade which include Tor, Bitcoin wallet, alt coin support and offline store availability.
What is Openbazaar?
Open Bazaar is a Blockchain powered decentralized and autonomous online store network. The system is similar to Ebay and Amazon, however there are no middleman control which means there is not censorship, no fees and no spying.
Users will have to download, install, configure and connect the desktop application to the network on Tor. Desktop applications are available for Windows, Linux and Mac.
Aside for posting listing, users can create virtual stores, chat with each other, as well as use other apps inbuilt into the system such as search and marketing.
What is in this release?
There are a few major chances in the release and readers should take not of them. Open Bazaar 2.0 is a real thing;
- the beta will use only real Bitcoins
- the beta will also use only real postings
- Bitcoin wallet with support for SegWit
- Tor anonymous connection has been supported
- altcoins and possible Bitcoin Cash are supported
- Offline feature allows stores to remain online even when the client who owns them is not online
The beta is not place for experiments, trails or learning. Its a real live marketplace and your listings are considered real and Bitcoin transactions are also real.
You can now use Dash, Monero, Ether, Litecoin and other coins on OpenBazaar through a ShapeShift partnership.

How will it affect me?
You may think that if you do not use Openbazaar then news about it does not concern you. Well you are wrong.
You see, with the global crackdown on black markets, Open Bazaar is fast becoming the new black market.
The result is that law enforcement agencies and other institutions will put Open Bazaar as a top priority to take down, infiltrate or censor.
Even as a non-user, we will all be affected when such an operation is active as it will also involve some of the anarchist technologies used on Open Bazaar such as Bitcoins, IPFS and encryption.
If law enforcement against do not directly attack Open Bazaar, then its because they are working on a back door access through any of the technologies used on Open Bazaar; Bitcoin, IPFS and Encryption.

Currently we have a lot of rumors and bad news around. For me that's a good sign because attention is rising. Open Bazaar is one of uncount applications which make cryptocurrencies more use every day! Thank you!
