Beware of OpenHash.ru Scam

It was the 3rd week of December when I came across this referral link for the OpenHash.ru's ( supposedly) cloud mining site. After registering, immediately I was given 200 Rubles ( Russian currency ) as startup credit. This will be used to purchase cloud mining power which are extremely cheap so you will really fall into this trap.

I spent my 200 Rubles to purchase a cloud mining power for DOGE coins. After 1 hour of alleged cloud mining, it has already earned a good number of DOGE coins.

The site says it can do the withdrawal of fund anytime, provided that there is a PAYEER ( or any other online payment system ) configured in the profile. Since I am not inclined to registering yet, I just forget about it.

After a week of not visiting the site, voila!, There's already around 400 DOGE coins mined. I converted it to Rubles and it was around 350 Rubles already. I tried to withdraw it but I still don't have PAYEER account. So immediately I registered for one.

In my attempt to withdraw again, another requirement is to reload my account for 199 Rubles first. So I purchased that amount in PAYEER and used it in Openhash.Ru to purchase more mining power.

Sad to say, when I tried to withdraw, even for about 200 Rubles only of my 350, it is always saying The Payment Gateway is Full.

Thats the time that I had a suspicion that this is scam.

I tried to look around google and all that I can see are referral links and YouTube tutorials in Russian language.

Scrutinizing the site further gave me this part " Send Us" at the bottom.

So this means, if I am to send them some inquiry, it will get forwarded to [email protected] .. Indeed a scam then.

So to you guys out there, in case you were given a referral link for Openhash.RU site, better ask them first if they have already made a withdrawal of funds. If they were successful, then please share it to us.. Right now, I have about 7000 Rubles held in that scam site which cannot be withdrawn.

I have kept visiting the site and hoping that the 'Payment Gateway" will be available. As I do that, I converted my mined coins to Rubles as stress release :) .

So right now, openhash.ru is confirmed to be a scam site and my fellow hopefuls needs to be aware of it.
