Ring! Ring!! Ring!!!  

My phone buzzed. It was the second of our trio gang. My day turned dark when the news of your demise dropped on me like the bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that left a wound in my heart. 

I could not believe my ears so I called your parents to confirm and reality came crashing in my world when she picked up her phone and she wept bitterly. 

I didn't know when I dropped my phone and teardrops came rolling down my cheeks. Memories came flooding my head of you and our times together.  

I blame myself  

If I had taken you from the village to the city you would still be alive and I wont have lost you to tetanus infection.  You were the smartest person I ever knew, always making sure I was happy and a smile never left my face.  

Every time we departed we would always say *Take Care, see you soon* but you left without saying goodbye.  

When my silence was taken for weakness you were my voice. 

When my meekness was taken for granted you were my protecting Angel.  

My great friend, my brother it is with a broken heart I pen down this letter to you 

 I Hope 

1. That this letter gets to you somehow  

2. That when you knock on heaven's gate, you would be welcomed graciously.  

3. That heaven smiles because an Angel has returned back home 

 I Wish 

1. I had taken you places you wanted to visit.  

2. I had spent time going to farm with you, sharing laughter with you.  

3. I had told you I LOVE YOU at every chance I got.  

4. Somebody would have told me earlier that the little time we spent would soon be the good old days. I would have laughed out loud when I called you "black" and you replied "I took after you" 

5. I could pick up my cell and dial heaven just to hear that you are happy where you are.    

My dear friend my dearest brother my teacher that taught me to always laugh without worrying about the wrinkles on my face when faced with anger.    

What am I going to do when there is no more you?    

I want you to know that am jealous of the way you are happy in heaven without me.    

I hide my tears when I hear your name but the pain in my heart is still the same. Though I smile and seem carefree, no one misses you more than I do.    

This I know certainly; **From the dust we come, to the dust we shall return**   

So, wait and prepare for me; we shall see someday.  

Sweet dream, 

Sleep tight, 

Rest well in the bosom of your creator, 

REST IN PEACE.  My Friend...My Brother...
