Rap Challenge Week 11 Review

I wasn't planning on judging this week but I figured I would show some love to the steemians that created entries. Interacting with people in this small virtual community has done a lot for me in these past couple of months. I actually just finished writing a song with @verbal-d who I met through the #rapchallenge. I'm going to hit the studio up next Thursday and record my part of the track.

To change things up a bit I'm going to use the 5 mic scale:

On the other side of the globe my man vandigital gives us that Rap Crypto!! Theses are the types of entries I like because the incorporate crypto. Given the name of his single I guess it would be expected that he would be talking about crypto in his raps. The flow was on point and a solid entry. Glad to see you back after a hiatus.

I knew I was in for something different when I saw your dave chappele meme!!! Given that you were in the hospital the past week I'm surprised you found time to record. Your entry kinda reminded me of eminem's slapstick one liners. Overall I was rockin my head and enjoying your entry. Glad to see your in good health!!

In the future please add a link to vimeo on your blog post so it's easier to get the embed code. With that said I really enjoyed your entry. You started off a little slow but by mid way I was bouncing with ya dude!! I can tell that you're having fun too. It's nice to see rappers with different styles too.

Your entries always have some artistic flavor to them. The visuals that you add show that you are willing to put a bit of extra time into it. Your flow was well delivered and had a positive message as well. I'm hoping to see you pump out more content on steemit. Glad you took time out of your week to write an entry.

I have to say you surprised me this week!! I'm glad you included the lyrics so I could read along. Your accent isn't too thick but I guess we american's don't understand much from the other side of the pond. You showed some versatility with the quick rhyming flow. Your lyrics were on point as well!!! Glad you entered your hat into the ring!!

Looks like dtube doesn't allow embedding so i just posted a link to your video above. I like your flow as well and entries like theses make it hard to judge these contest. You have a that old school flavor and I think the beat you picked wen well with your flow. Keep them commin!!!

You came ready to fight this week!!! The little kids giving the finger from your blog post pretty much summed up what you were spittin. I can commend you for putting your hat in the ring. It's not exactly my flavor but i can still dig it.

And there you have it. As you can see from my judging I can't make up my damn mind!! It is pretty hard to judge when you have such dope entries!!! I'll leave it up to the two other judges @rondonson and @slickhustler007 to figure it out. Next week if the stars align @acres1881 will be providing these reviews for the contestants of the rap challenge. I might go back to being a contestant if time permitting. Coming from you, that's definitely a good look. This was fun, I really enjoyed it. Like I said this whole thing kind of allowed me to see who's on the same playing field as me. We really could come together and do some dopes stuff on this platform. like you said, it's already happening. Shouts out to everyone that came out. @kaykunoichi , @mickeymic , @bigpayRap, and @trillex were my favorites, in that order.

Got to give props where props are due. Being able to freestyle even partially and make it sound like a song is really dope. I'm waiting for my voting power to go up then ill be upvoting everyones entries. I might even send some @minnowboosters. I haven't decided as of yet.

I have to give some of these a listen. I really enjoy the creativity of the lyrics in rap and the varied flows. Nice to see so many creative types flocking to steemit with such varied interests. I think that's one of the things that will keep this platform growing.
