Cuando estaba cantando un bolero
bajo su ventanal por el vibrar de mi voz
se me aflojó la prótesis dental
y cual saeta partiendo de mi boca
sin poderlo yo evitar
hizo una extraña parábola en el aire
y ya no la ví mas nunca más.

Ya sin mis dientes y parado frente a ti
traté de disimular seguí cantando
y por el agujero de mi boca salía todo mal.

Desesperado busque por la vereda
y al fin la pude hallar sobre uno de esos
pegotes que abandonan los perros al pasar
y aunque salve mi dignidad y ella jamás se enterará
porque de un solo manotazo me la pude acomodar.

Aunque salve mi dignidad aquí en mi boca
un gusto amargo quedará.
