Thanks to @pfunk who has sponsored Steemit Open Mic since it's inception 43 weeks ago, we can award musicians who submit original music.
In addition to the 200 Steem he donates each week, @pfunk also kicks in another 120 Steem to reward people who submit original songs.
The 120 Steem is divided each week between all those who entered original music.
Since Steemit Open Mic is growing so much it is my task to transfer the funds. Here's a screen shot from the last two weeks of who got a Steem bonus.

How To Earn A Bonus On Steemit Open Mic
These bonuses may not last forever but to earn a bonus for an original song entry you need to:
- Play or sing an original song. Not just some chords on a guitar that you call original, but an actual song or composition.
- You need to say the words, "Steemit Open Mic Week - (followed by the current week number) at the start of your video.
- The title of your blog post must begin with "Steemit Open Mic Week - (followed by the current week number)
- The word "Original" must be somewhere in your title.
Here's a perfect example of how to correctly title a post to make it easy for us to find your post, know it is an original, and reward you.

Steemit OpenMic is by far the best way for a new musician to break into the Steemit Music Scene. Provides so many amazing opportunities to meet and interact with cool people, all while having an opportunity to perform regardless of your status or your proximity to a city.

With all the great work you're doing with The Steemit Local Music Society on Discord and Steemit Musicians on Facebook, I'm sure you know how fun it is to see musicians meet and collaborate on music projects after meeting up on Steemit.
It's great to bring all the music talent together and inspire others to branch off into new categories like the Rap Challenge, Steem Idol, Karaoke Challenge, and others.
By the way, thanks for helping out with the judging last week. It was good to have some fresh ears. Hope it becomes a regular thing. Wink. Wink.

@pfunk is actually a pretty nice guy! Plenty of times gave me support and tends to leave Comments. He is one oldtimers that is active on Steemit and still is today, but with the amount of users joining and my followers, i didn't to catch with all the buzz.
