Steemit Open Mic Week 72 Original Song "I Can't Wait For The Weekend" by @martinsandersuk

Hi friends and fellow steemians, this is my entry for steemit @openmic week 72.

It's an original song of mine, and I hope you enjoy it.

It's a song I wrote to try and capture the essense of life, during a sustained period of partying, so anyone who's done such a thing should be able to relate to this song, at least in part. It's been a cool after party/festival campfire song, so feel free to learn it and play it yourself.

I've finally sorted out a better quality sound set up. I've had the set up in place for a while in the way of a Rode K2 and a zoom 4 recorder, but using lightworks for editing videos and adding and syncing a seperate audio track has proved a test to say the least. Blood sweat and tears spent, and I still have some more studying to do there too!

I've opted for as natural sound as possible though, avoiding any effects such as reverbs etc, as I wanted an intimate feel as you'd expect at an open mic, and as close as possible to the point that it would seem as if you were sat in my room right front of me, pretty much where the camera is positioned.

I'm sure many feel the same, it's hard to show enough thanks and the big ups and the appreciation felt for @luzcypher and his amazing team of judges and such supportive and generous sponsors and supporters. I really hope you guys know that, to many of us at least, you are the stars of this show!!
