Glad I found this....working the grave yard I just put you on play and hung in there for the full 41:39
Made my night! Can't wait for more to come. Good job dude! Do you sanitize some of the words for the grandkiddies? LOL

I generally don't sanitize. Much. But I do feel like there are ways to reach a broader audience by coming from a place where other people might find themselves emotionally, which means I can't be completely unfiltered. The only real editing I do (lyrically) is fixing grammar, bringing more honesty into it, and also trying to put the listener in my shoes, but also putting myself in their shoes a bit. Where possible. So glad you liked it, and very happy you made it to the end!!! :D

It is obvious that you love playing and singing. You do not need even to look at strings, that is just like a feeling, it is coming from your heart and your soul is singing. I am myself not a person who can sing, although I love to sing for myself but never dare to do it in front of anyone. But I admire everyone who has such talent to be able to perform and to share the songs and accompanying yourself, that is double so hard in my eyes. I like your songs and great performance, the way of black and white video makes it more retro way :)

Thanks Stef! As usual, you are TOO kind. <3

I'll be honest with you, I did not see the full video, not because it's not good, but because I do not have that much time today. Still I can tell you that the more or less 15 minutes that I saw, or rather, I heard, you do a good job. Upvote! Tomorrow will continue the video where I left it.

Thanks! Let me know what your least favorite / most favorite is, and why, and I'll upvote you all day. <3

Did you take all those song at ones? If so, BRAVO! You have a lot of energy :) I honestly didn't see the whole video as it's too long for busy Saturday but I've seen first five minutes and then clicked through it and I must say you are a showman! I love the parts where you look drunk :) They made me laugh.

Thank you for sharing and investing so much time and energy in creating this video!

Mostly in 1 take. I think I had to take a second take that night of a couple of them. I play these songs almost every night though, so it's not often I need (or get!) a second take. :) Thanks so much for watching! <3

Haha at the part you look drunk
I love the old school style vibes
Nice energy you got there and get it is my favorite

Wait, I think I was sober. I mean maybe I had 1 or 2 beers, but definitely not drunk. LOL I seem drunk even when I'm sober I guess. <3 Thanks for watching!

Lol
OK den

Fantastic concert I only listened to 3 songs, my internet is very slow in South America :(

I am fascinated to see that although it is very different from cowboy music in Venezuela there is some similarity in attire and style of lyrics.

I like country because I see the influence of singers like elvis presley for example.

It is interesting that folk music in both North and South America is marked by the use of guitars, of Spanish origin a mix for my exquisite cultures.

Greetings cowboy, thank you for sharing your concert.

Thanks man! I'm doing my cowboy music in much more of a Tejano or Mexican style than most white guys from the US would do it in. So hopefully my music is sharing even more of that Southern Cowboy style! Would love to hear examples from your region! Thanks for watching!

Now everything makes sense, of course brother here I leave you 2 examples of popular Venezuelan music from the countryside or what would come to be the music of the llanero or as they say on those sides cowboy

is played with instruments such as the cuatro which is a small adapted guitar, with electric bass, harp and maracas which is a heritage of ethnic culture. The lyrics are composed with a Spanish style that was adapted called decima.

ojo te acabo de pasar 2 genres of many more, in each region of Venezuela there are differences.

Love it! I need to get exposed to some solo artists in that genre. I want to produce music that is the Americanized version of that style of southern cowboy music.

Hah those text transitions made me think that for editing you've used Openshot, right? :D

Yep! Definitely OpenShot. :) I don't normally use it though. But I was putting a new computer through it's paces and figured I'd give it a go. Thanks for watching!!

What do u use normally then?

Normally I just do one song at a time, and upload them one at a time. Or I'll do mini sets of 4-5 songs in a row. Just record and upload, no editing. Sometimes I'll record a song separately with high quality mp3 recorder app on my samsung android. Then I'll put a bunch of video and pics over it using the Quik video editing app. Which is on my phone. Check out my YouTube chan. I do a lot of crazy stuff. :)

if you had time for a concert friend I congratulate you for great talent you have with the guitar and a beautiful voice we go cowboy in concert, I hope that for the next you do another concert.
