For this week's #openmic entry, I decided that I'm going to do one of my very favorite 'Just the Way You Are' by Billy Joel. It does have the same title as a very popular Bruno Mars' song but this one goes way back. It was released in 1977 and since then, a lot of artists did a cover of this song including Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr., and many more. I believe that's what keeps a great song alive through the ages.
I personally love Diana Krall's version of this song (basically every songs that she ever covers 😍). She has this simple yet captivating and charming way of delivering a song. I absolutely love her warm sound and really hope that one day I have the opportunity to listen to attend her concert.
