    Nice entry, it seems to be out of your stronger range of singing but you still hit the notes with some flair, the guitar strumming is solid and you gave your performance passion and effort. I still enjoyed this cover. Upvoted

      Cheers. I think it works well as an acoustic song. I just hear stuff I like and try it. Not all of it works. I know my limits. I get to play with some really talented people and they inspire me to keep trying

          ZZTop is a perfect one for guitar players, they sounded different as others in the 80ies means a sound you recognise straight away as being them so are you @steevc - recognisable! Good luck, you have my vote!

                  @steevc I agree with n25052016 but I admire your courage and the fact that you can play a guitar so I cast my vote on you!

                  • tip: sing a song close to your heart - one that would make you feel it and make us feel it when you sing it - anyway, rock on and don't care - i mean well :)

                    I don't fool myself that I'm a great singer or a brilliant guitarist. I do this for fun and it's great to play with others at the pub. I'm writing some more songs that I will post here for future contests. Could be one for next week. Cheers
